Between Heaven And Hell

This is a very short song, that I think I actually wrote while I was at work (used to work in Sainsbury's .... ). As I mentioned in an earlier post, I've always had the idea for an album called Angels / Devils, and this song would be the opening track, one of those short introductory tracks that you get opening some albums. The theme seems appropriate for the opening of such an album

The idea is that is has no instruments .... just voices. After being in a school play of The Tempest where we used this technique, I decided it would be cool to use a soundscape ... a lot of voices, maybe around a hundred or so, all singing different notes at different times, and holding them for as long as possible .. trust me, if you've never heard this before, it sounds absolutely magical. Then the song would be sung over the top, and then at the end the next song would kick in straightaway

Man, I'm a genius :b

Incidentally, one day I might actually go back and write more to this song, but at the moment I think it works fine. Comments are welcome
