Fade Into The Sun

This was written for a lyric writing competition on a message board I post on ... the title was chosen by members of the board, everyone involved submitted a song anonymously, and the members of the board chose the winner. There were some good songs came out of that, mine didn't even get voted into the top 3, but ah well, my time would come about a year and a half later :p I wish I'd thought about the chorus a bit more though, I think that's what let's it down a bit

After I wrote this, I came up with an alternative second verse that I thought was probably better than the one I originally wrote, but I'll post both versions here anyways. Incidentally, I used this title for another song in 2005, which I'll make a seperate post on eventually
