The Untimely Demise Of Rock N' Roll

I think that I came up with the title for this, and one line from it, sometime towards the end of 2005. I just thought it'd be awesome to have a song with this title as the first track on an album, with a chorus that goes "Rock N' Roll is dead, long live Rock N' Roll!". By 2006, it had metamorphosed into a bit of a rant about how people treat musicians as if they're gods, and how the musicians are only too happy to take advantage of this. It's based on something that was getting to me at the beginning of the year, but I won't go into it

Like the last song, Schizophrene, its kind of bitter, but mostly just very tongue in cheek and sarcastic. Again it got very positive reviews, I'm now thinking that this style of writing kind of suits me! I quite like this one, if I do say so myself, it's quite witty :D

There's two lines in the bridge which I came up with alternative lines for, but I can't decide which I like better. I've marked that bit in red.
