Still Holding On

First song I ever finished writing (I'd previously written a chorus for the theme tune of a James Bond film I was making up ... maybe one day I'll finish that :p but be warned, it was terrible). I started writing this song sometime around the beginning of 2002, then forgot about it for ages, then at the beginning of 2003 finished it off to give to a girl that I really liked at the time for Valentine's Day. It actually has a reasonably decent melody, which is something of a rarity in my writing ... I'm a lyricist, writing music isn't my strong point. At the time, the people I showed it to actually gave me relatively good comments on it - one friend of mine was seriously pushing me to send it off to a record company or something. Nowadays though I think it's a bit simplistic and naive, but if anyone reading this does have any comments on it, positive or negative, do let me know:
